It's been too long . . .

Hello friends! Sorry I've been away for so long. As much as I try to keep up with this blog, the days pass by and I just can't get to it!! Well, I have had a very busy year. In May, we took a family vacation to HAWAII!! I had so much fun at "my Kailua beach."

This pictures is actually from Ko Olina, where we spent a few days. We also went to Dole Plantation and rode the Pineapple Express!

Choo Chooooo

My favorite part of the trip was meeting Isabella the sea turtle. I learned that sea turtles are endangered and need protection.
Meet Isabella . . .
We also went to the Honolulu Zoo,
and ate malasadas . . . DELICIOUS!!!
We went on hikes (I usually fell asleep and missed the view),
and we played at the beach . . . a lot!

Kailua beach was my favorite.

I played in the sand,
and learned how to body surf.
We had a great trip. It was so fun to be back in Hawaii and to visit with our Hawaii family (Auntie Denise, Uncle Jeff and Chris and Jack)! We can't wait to go back again soon!

Good Bye Winter, Hello Spring!

This winter really flew by. A couple of months ago, I thought winter would never end. We had soooo much snow and it was soooo cold! The snow piles just kept getting higher and higher.Since there was so much snow, I went sledding a few times. I went down the hill all by myself - what a blast!
Sometimes I liked the snow tube, but usually preferred my red sled.

Sometimes it was too cold to go outside so I played inside instead. I love my fireman uniform . . .
and playing in my "tree house." Come on - I'll show you . . .
Keep coming . . .

You're almost there . . .

Here it is, my "tree house."
I will show you something else now.

We also celebrated two holidays - Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day. On Valentine's Day, I wore my pink shirt to school and brought cards to all of my friends.
And on St. Patrick's Day, a leprechaun came to my house and left me a treat. I didn't catch him, but maybe I will next year!
He left me green milk, a book (The Night Before St. Patrick's Day) and a green lollipop. As you can see, I was ready for a St. Patrick's Day celebration!!

Well, here's to spring!! The snow has finally melted and I'm looking forward to hitting the playground and baseball field!

2010 Year In Review!

2010 flew by so fast that I hardly kept up with my blog. Since I didn't add much during the second part of the year, below is quick review of the things I did. You will also see how much I've grown!

First things first, I turned 2! Turning 2 was very exciting. Mommy and Daddy bought me a train table - it is awesome. And, Memere and Pepere sent me a slide for my backyard! I had a party at school with my friends and then ate birthday cake at home before we left for our trip to Colorado.
My new (in June) train table.

Did you see me go down??

Happy Birthday, Keegan!

For comparison - baby Keegan and Keegan's 1st birthday - I'm such a big boy now!

As I mentioned, we left for Colorado on my birthday. We had such a great time. I visited Boulder, Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park with Grandmom and Pop Pop. Best of all, I met new friends and visited with old friends (so to speak). We also visited the Denver Zoo!

Rocky Mountain National Park

There was A LOT of snow.

This one is a keeper!

Next stop the Denver Zoo - I loved the giraffes (the real ones, too)

Like this one!

The rest of the summer was so much fun. I spent a lot of time at the beach and playing outside.
Hey Daddy, what are you doing?
The frigid New England water obviously does not bother me.

On 4th of July, I caught up with my very first friend, Zach. We met in Hawaii. He was visiting Boston from his new home in Annapolis. He was trying to teach me how to blow bubbles, but I just couldn't get the hang of it!!

I also hung out with my Great Grammy and Grandpop who visited from Florida.

Over Labor Day, we spent one last weekend on the beach in Cape May Point, New Jersey. Love my new shades!

Mommy made me pose for this one!

And, best of all, I had some snuggle time with my cousins Abby and Aidan!

The fall brought many exciting adventures as well. Like apple picking . . .

hayrides,

Halloween (not sure if you saw me, but I was a train conductor for Halloween. I had so much fun trick-or-treating in our neighborhood!)

And, Daddy taught me how to play baseball.

Don't let the photo fool you - I'm pretty sure I'm a south paw!

That's me running the bases.

Over Thanksgiving I saw my cousins again. This time, Tad taught me how to play the guitar.

The Holidays brought all kinds of fun . . .

I saw my cousins Colby and Alex,

Alex and I tried to hide in the toy box,

Santa came to my house, and

it SNOWED!!!

And it SNOWED again!!

Well, that's it! 2011 is already shaping up to a be a great year. I've gone skiing, ice skating, and sledding and it has snowed at least another foot since the last photograph. I will keep you up to speed on my adventures!!
